Teams playing the first game of a series
on the road that get beaten easy usually put up a big effort in game 2
Example:
New
York at Cleveland
NYY loses game 1 by a score of 3-12, then loses game 2 in extra innings
by a score of 1-2
If a team wins the first game of a series as a road dog you should bet them to
win game 2 as a road dog
Example:
Colorado at Philadelphia
Colorado
wins game 1 as the road dog by a score of 4-2, then wins game 2 as a road dog by a score of 10-5
If
a team loses game 1 of a series on the road, but it was a close game (by 1-2 runs), bet them to lose game 2 by a bigger
margin
Example:
Chicago
at Arizona
Chicago loses game 1 on the road by a score of 1-3, then loses game 2 by a score of
4-8

above examples were taken from games played during the 2007 playoffs.
